The iPod comes at it's end, as apple has officially discontinued it. You can still buy one while supplys last.
3 years ago apple lunch the iPod 7 Gen, but this week apple announced that it’s discontinuing the iPod Touch. This was the last iPod to remain after the mini, shuffle, and other were kill off a while ago. The Apple store has sold out of there iPods.
While Apple may be done with making dedicated music players, the company says that “the spirit of iPod lives on” in all of its devices that play music, such as the iPhone, iPad, and HomePod Mini.
The iPod touch is the end of the 20 year era of music. Most people aren’t particularly interested in carrying a second device that does something their smartphone is perfectly capable to play music to. It so sad to see the iPod leave.
