They had originally had set the mask mandate to lift on March 18, but had been push back.
The Transportation Security Administration had extend the mask mandate for public transportations. They have extended intill April 18, They originally set it for March 18. This comes from the White House and TSA.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will work with government agencies to help inform a revised policy framework for when the mask rules can be lifted during this time, said the White House official. This is not the first time it's been push back, it been push 2 times.
The CDC lifted the mask mandate for all amercians becouse they feel safe without masks.
