Apple announces a Self Service Repair in November of last year and told us it would launch early 2022 and here it is!
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA -- Apple had announce their self service repair kits to the public in the US and they are Genuine Apple parts and tools to the public in the US, you can buy them in the Apple Self Service Repair Store. Self Service Repair is available in the US and will expand to additional countries later this year.
Apple said in the press release that is will offer more than 200 individual parts and tool, the repair will only apply to iPhone 12 and 13 series from the mini to the pro max and it will apply to the new iPhone SE 3 not the 1 gen or 2nd. The replaceable parts are the display, battery, and camera.
Later this year the repair service will come to the Macs with Apple silcon like M1, M1 pro, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra. As now will not see Macs with a intel chip so November 2020 to future Macs will be in the repair service plan.

Rental options are available for $49 dollars, for the people who want to fix a IPhone but dose not want yo purchase tools for a single repair, they still will get professional repair tools. It's going to be a weeklong rental and will be ship for free.
