A new covid-19 vaccine for the Omicron could be coming!
Johnson and Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer had said that they contiune to develop to make an updated booster shot that tagets the Omicron. The current booster is targeting the original form of the virus first identified in China in late 2019. The booster still is afected to the virus as it protects you from getting real sick.
Pfizer plans to start human studies for the Omicron specific vaccine. If all goes in plan it could be ready by march 2022.
