A Edit Feature Could Come To Twitter Very Soon

The social media company said it will begin testing the button in the coming months.

Many have been wating for a edited feature on twitter, users will soon be able to edit their tweet. Social media giant said it had been working on the feature since last year and will begin testing it in the coming months.

Twitter user and critic Elon Musk, who asked his followers Monday whether the site should have an edit button “yse or on,” he joked. Jay Sullivan, said Tuesday that users have wanted to fix embarrassing mistakes and typos, a problem they've worked around by deleting and tweeting again.

"Therefore, it will take time and we will be actively seeking input and adversarial thinking in advance of launching Edit," he said. "We will approach this feature with care and thoughtfulness and we will share updates as we go."
